The spice of life.....

It has to be after 40 when it happens. When we really discover the spice of life. I have found it in myself. I AM the spice of my life. I am happy to wake up each day. To see a new sunrise or a bold sunset. And we do have both here where I live. And at times like this, I wonder if I will ever find a mate who can share all this with me. Is he out there?? YEP!!! He is some where and one day we will meet. Have a great day!!!

Hiring for all positions???

Hmmmm... saw this on a sign and wondered if they knew what kind of conversations it leads to.... Do I get to select the position(s) I prefer??? hehe... here we are again... Where to look for companionship, love, romance.. anything besides sitting home alone.. maybe we should apply at afore mentioned place?? Online ads have not helped.... do we frequent the grocery stores? do we try the gym?? or jog around the neighborhood?? Face it.. if he/she is out there, they are looking as well. A change in our activities is called for. And with the change, we have to open our narrow minds and really look for the beauty within a person instead of the package beauty. Is it possible to make that change as well? Absolutely! Give it a try. Start by watching people. just watch how they act, their body language. You will eventually start seeing people in a different aspect. You might be amazed at what you actually see.

Is he/she out there??

So, you have been looking and waiting for how long?? Seems like yesterday when you got divorced? Well, for me, it has been about 10 years since I have had a steady friend, lover, companion. Well, not many dates either. So, what to do? Keep smiling and enjoy my life. I love it and I love waking to a new day. And I would love to share it with someone one day. There are several dating sites out there that are free but they are not necessarily any better than the ones that you pay for. Have you seen a sunrise or sunset in southern New Mexico??

Do we really want to find someone??

We are out there, many of us, looking for that special one to give us the companionship we all need and/or want. Whether by our choice or by circumstance, we are single and not necessarily loving it. We wonder.. will we find someone who will fill the void in our life?? Is there really someone out there for me?? Will I know it if I find it?? Or have I past it by because he/she was too big.. too small.. too loud... or just too plain?? Didn't we teach our children that all that doesn't matter?? Yet, here we are.. looking for someone and judging them before we get to know them. Hmmm... where are our parents to tell us that all that isn't what makes a person who they are...
